Dr. Lucas is an accomplished teacher and speaker whose background gives her unique credibility in today's health care world. She has a doctorate degree in Research Psychology as well as licensure and advanced training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She knows how to take information and present it in an easily understandable and enjoyable manner to audiences that range in size from 10 to over 300.
She began her speaking career in front of concerned citizens who were trying to stop the opening of a nuclear power plant in the area in which she lived (they succeeded!). She was an expert debater when proponents of the plant or representatives of the NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) challenged her group's position. She continued her speaking career in front of many hundreds of university students. Now, she enjoys teaching acupuncturists all over the country about pulse diagnosis and Cosmetic Acupuncture and speaking to groups of people who are eager to learn how to improve their health and/or overcome illness. |
